I grew up on a farm where we used to have all types of animals such as cows, goats, sheep, dogs, rabbits, pigeons, chickens, Guinea fowls, turkeys, etc.

Just a suggestion, please make videos about pigeon or rabbit farming for meat, black chicken farming, silk farming, and protein maggot farming such as black soldier fly larvae farming, dairy moose farming, velvet deer/elk farming, and many others.”

Comment 2: Ron Ward said: “Migration patterns of Bison bison were localized by having access to, then utilizing winter and summer areas as they established themselves to even larger herds. Before State divisions the Perennial Long or short-gassed prairies formed the vegetative layers in which herbivores could graze, or even seek cover. Untilled, yet roughened up by the hooves of the Bison the plains were receiving nutrients from grazers, and yearly utilizing plant materials so as to not go rank or unproductive.”

Comment 3: Michael Meyer said: “North Dakota is #3 in Bison production. One reason there are not more ranches raising them is that they are very dangerous animals to work with and hard to control. I have seen a bison (with a very short running start) jump a 10 ft. steel fence. They also lean into a turn while running (like a motorcycle does when turning a corner) so they can change direction VERY quickly. Many people visiting our national parks (that have bison) get injured or killed because they don’t understand the danger they pose. Another reason there aren’t more ranches is that the economics are not great. The cows only have a calf every 2 years and there is not a big demand for the meat, which is unfortunate because the meat is very good!”

Comment 4: Robert Robert said: “Bison meat is the most delicious meat I have ever eaten. Also, their skulls, horns, and Winter hides are very valuable. I used to make the best Bison Chili east of the Mississippi River.”

Comment 5: Right to bear arms etc. said: “Animals can pick through state and eat very little but it’s not really for eating unlike hay is for eating of course we could go through many different kinds of hay.”😂
