Massive Queen Snappers and a Giant Hammerhead

In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing for massive queen snapper in the Florida Keys with Captain Dave Jones from Munsters Fishing. We used squid for bait on a chicken rig and dropped the rig down over 800ft! The first queen snapper that we caught was the biggest that I’ve ever seen! I seriously didn’t know they grew this big!

BlacktipH Fishing brings you some of the most exciting fishing videos on the web. Our host, Josh Jorgensen, is an extreme angler who has an adrenaline-seeking appetite for monster fish!

Whether it’s catching monster fish from the beach, from a kayak, or from a boat, Josh pushes the limits of big game fishing. Our content has been featured on Discovery, National Geographic, Today Show, and many more!

Comment 2: Evan DeFoor Said: “This is so cool seeing you fishing with him! I went fishing with him on that same boat when I was in Islamorada! I used that same exact Diawa reel and caught a queen snapper! He’s a great guide!”

Comment 3: JORGE MARTINEZ Said: “Been on YouTube since the beginning never dropped a comment but for this Capt Dave, I must say hands down the best charter captain the greatest person to have fished with, as a captain as a guide as great soul as a giving human being. He is like none other. The mahi whisperer, the queen snapper hate this guy but I have the utmost respect for this Islamorada fishing savage.”

Comment 3: Nicholas Knotts Said: “Biggest hammerhead I’ve ever seen was in Islamorada, the boat we were on was 23 feet, we pulled up about 15 feet off to his side and got the boat to the point it where his head was about to flush with the bow, and his tail went all the way back past the center console.

This fish actually very calm in nature! In the photo belᴏw, yᴏu can see the MASSIVE Queen Snappers and a Giant Hammerhead.
